The Grant committee
The Grant committee (in Danish Bevillingsudvalget) consists of the DPOD President, a representative from the DPOD executive committee, an external resource person and an observer. In July 2009 the Grant Committee was extended with an observer from the Danish Haemophilia Society.
Starting from January 2010 the observer will be a representative how will take part in the decision-making of Grant committee. The person will be active until the end of 2010.
In January 2010 a new observer will be appointment to the Grant committee. This observer is appointed from the alphabetical list of member organisations that are active in the developing countries. Each member organisation shall designate the person they wish to be included in the Grant committee. However, it is assumed that the appointment person has experience of developing countries.
If a member organisation is not able to find an observer/representative, they shall contact DPOD who will then next member organisation of the list will be appointed.
Starting from 2010 DPOD there are 3 annual application deadlines: 10th January, 10th April and 1st October.
