Important parties
The personnel programme is based on collaboration between several parties. The partnership must build on respect and trust so that everyone involved can contribute to the collaboration in a constructive way.
The most important parties are:
-
The Danish organisation (a DPOD member organisation or in some cases DPOD itself) that wishes to send out a development worker (also called the sending organisation),
-
The partner organisation in the South that wishes to receive a development worker (also called the hosting organisation),
-
The development worker that wishes to be posted,
-
DPOD as responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of the personnel programme, the finance management and rendering the accounts for Danida,
-
Possibly a local country office in the country to where the posting is taking place.
