Objectives

The development worker serves as a facilitator for the partnership and should – in addition to holding professional qualifications – be well- versed in development issues.

Among the objectives of such postings could be to:

• Facilitate communication.
• Give advice on project planning, monitoring and reporting.
• Provide inspiration and facilitation for local disability organisations.
• Facilitate access for local disability organisations to significant national development processes.
• Acilitate updating of the country strategy.
• Identify local resource persons in the fields of organisational development, grassroots mobi lisation, fundraising and advocacy capable of supporting the local disability organisation.
• Promote identification with development activities in the South among the Danish population.
