Organisational Development
A plan for how we as organisations get stronger and better at what we do. Approximately half of the Disabled People’s Organisation Denmark’s (DPOD) member organisations (MOs) are involved in development work in developing countries, mainly through the DPOD Miniprogramme (MP) framework. Collaboration between the MOs and South Disabled People’s Organisations (South DPOs) is the core of the Miniprogramme framework. The projects under the MP are small scale projects.
This Organisational Development (OD) strategy has been developed to direct and strengthen the sustainability of the activities undertaken within the MP framework. The organisations of PWDs are considered as crucial actors for taking forwards the disability rights and movement – for the realisation of rights of PWDs to live a life with dignity in the society. The strategy is a guiding tool to strengthen the capacities of the key actors under the MP – South DPOs, MOs and DPOD.
