FENAPH Institutional Capacity Building Project

Budget: 200.000,00 DKK

 
Development objective:

To create equal opportunities for PWDs in Rwanda by strengthening FENAPH at national and local level.

 
Immediate Objectives:

1. Before 2011 to build a strong secretariat which will coordinate the activities of FENAPH in order to address the needs of PWDs.
2. 50 PWDs are included and benefit from government mainstream poverty reduction programmes (EDPRS & Vision 2020 Umurenge) before 2011.

Target groups:

The primary Target group will be the elected FENAPH and DPO’s National Com-mittees and the local FENAPH in one district and its sectors. The gender distri-bution will be according to the gender distribution of the elected representatives but from experience it will be app. 50% -50%. 

The secondary target group will be government officials at national and local level and  50 individual PWDs who will benefit from the project. The gender distribution is expected to be 50% - 50%.
